Dive Asia's head office at Kata Beach was founded in 1988 as one of the first dive shops in Phuket. In 1992, a second Dive Asia office was opened at Karon Beach. In October 1997, Dive Asia became the first PADI 5 Star Career Development Center in Phuket/Thailand - one of only three in all of Southeast Asia
