Today, we will begin early to start our day excursion to the Chocoyero Reserve. Rich in mountainous landscape accompanied by some off-road drive, this reserve is famous for its large population of "Chocoyos" - green parrots living by the thousands in the surrounding cliff walls.
Our path through this well preserved forest will bring us to some impressive waterfalls. On our way back, we will drive a secondary road passing by pineapple plantations and we'll learn about these and other important crops for the country. After the pueblos we will have the opportunity to look at the handmade rattan, bamboo and other exotic wood furniture and the artisans that produce it.
