This package has been designed specially for people who want to get in close proximity with nature. It is an exploration of Nicaragua's natural treasures. Nicaragua, known as the land of lakes and volcanoes, also has a great variety of tropical forests, with exuberant flora and fauna. The most experienced traveler will be astounded by so many natural beauties. Of course, a bit of an adventure spirit is required to fully enjoy what this country has to offer as far as nature is concerned. However, do not be mislead, there are numerous high quality and comfortable lodges even in the most remote areas.

This package includes visiting and overnighting at such places as the Apoyo lagoon, the romantic Isletas, the top of the Mombacho volcano, the San Juan River in the middle of the jungle, the peaceful Solentíname islands and also visiting a Pacific beach. You'll be accompanied throughout by a naturalist bilingual guide who will ensure that you do not miss any of the natural attractions.

Some of the activities in which you will participate include: A walk into the tropical dry forest, exploring the rain forest of the San Juan River, a boat trip of the Isletas, a visit to the swamp area of Los Guatuzos Reserve, a night tour of the Mombacho Nature Reserve, a trip to the La Flor Reserve on the Pacific coast and the exploration of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island. Ask us for a detailed itinerary which would be based on your arrival date.

Recommended gear: Comfortable hiking shoes, sun protection and hat, light clothing, drinking water, flashlight. We recommend traveling light to facilitate the operation.
